About the Author

Wyn McCormack
Wyn McCormack worked as a guidance counsellor and special education teacher in St. David’s School, Greystones. She is the parent of three sons with Dyslexia. She has designed and presented courses on Dyslexia for teachers, parents and students since the early 1990’s. To date she has delivered in-service courses to staff in 180 schools across all counties as well as many zoom courses for teachers and SNAs through the Education Support Centre network.
She is the author of Factsheets on Dyslexia at Second Level (2014 and updated many times). Her other publications include Lost for Words, a Practical Guide to Dyslexia at Second-level 3rd Ed. 2007 and co-author of Dyslexia, an Irish Perspective 2nd Ed 2010.
In 2025 she published 9 YouTube videos on dyslexia at second level which are available for free, online.
